Bokaro Public school, Bokaro Steel City established in April 1992, is an English medium co-educational Higher Secondary (+2) School Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi. This School is being run by a non-profit making registered educational society “Sainik Shiksha Prachar Samiti”, which is working in two fields, i.e Education and Health.In a very short period, due to its quality education and the grand success of its students in Board Examinations, as well as excellence achieved in various competitive entrance examinations, this school earned a very good name in the field of education at city and state level.
Not only in academic but also in the field of sports and cultural activities its students have done well at all levels.Capt. R.C. Yadav an Ex-Army officer is the founder Director of the school , who believes that the discipline is the backbone of all success, and under his strict supervision, the education is imparted with exemplary Army discipline. It is his vision and tremendous hard work, that the school started with few temporary rooms with less than two hundred students in 1992, is today having four storied building, with excellent infrastructure and having more than two thousand students on the roll.
