The School
An English medium co-educational School with Indian cultural background, run on public school lines was founded by the well known physician of Dehradun, Late Dr. Ram Murti. The "BOSFELL" mansion, once located in the Brooklyn Estate in 1925 turned into an institution as BROOKLYN SCHOOL in 1987. The extensive school campus is ideally situated in the quiet environment of Dalanwala which is conveniently connected to the main Raipur Road and just 1.3 kms. from the Clock Tower.
The Children between the age group of 2½ to 16 yrs. are admitted in the school, starting from Playgroup to Class XII. The School is affiliated with the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and instructions are imparted according to the pattern set by the Council.
Aims and Objectives
The School aims at providing the children, education in the spirit of "Espirit de Corps" that is, all round development of the personailty of the child. The child is not only conversant with the "Three R's", but also develops a healthy body and a healthy mind. The school undertakes to develop the quality of Leadership, Fearlessness, Inquisitiveness and Dignity of labour among the students so that they can prove as worthy citizens of the society and the country at large.
