DeSouza's School is a premier Institutuion being one of the oldest schools in Rourkela. founded in the year 1958 by Late Capt. John DeSouza and Late Mrs. Anne Desouza. The School is a registered body recognized by the Govt. of Orissa and affiliated to the Council for the ISC Examinations, New Delhi, sponsoring students for the ICSE and ISC Examinations.
The School, situated on a 6 acre campus at the foot of the Durgapur Hill Range, Sector-2 Rourkela, is one of the cleanest and greenest campuses with its gardens, lawns and playgrounds. In keeping with its motto "Born For Greater Things", the School caters to the all round development of the child through its band of well qualified and experienced Staff, extra-curricular activities, good academic results and infrastructure.
