A visionary and an eminent educationist Late Shri. Darbari Lal Ji was born on January 15, 1930, the day which is celebrated as the Foundation Day every year at DLF Public School. An Ex-President of D.A.V. Managing Committee, he was a great philosopher, missionary, thinker and social crusader who worked to light the lamp of education for every child. The school takes great pride in the fact that it was established in his loving memory and is growing manifold with his blessings. He left for his heavenly abode on May 16, 1995.
Run by the Darbari Lal Foundation a trust in the memory of Shri Darbari Lal Ji, DLF Public School is the first institution set by the DLF Trust. From a humble 16 -room building in 1996 to a sprawling integrated complex spread over 5 acres it has seen phenomenal growth in size and caliber over the years.
