The SBOA Public (Sr.Sec.) School is situated at South Chittoor, just 6 kilometres away from the heart of the city of Kochi, just behind the Chittoor Sree Krishna Swami Temple, on the Chittoor Road. It is located in a serene calm campus at the bank of Cochin backwaters in an area of 4.68 acres with large ground for sports facilities. The school was started in 1984 and it has grown considerably in the past 35 years with all amenities and facilities to fulfill its mission. The school is managed by the STATE BANK OF INDIA OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION (SBIOA) EDUCATIONAL TRUST, promoted by Chennai Circle of SBIOA under the leadership of the Secretary & Correspondent and other office bearers. The Principal Mrs. Sreekala Karunakaran, heads the school. The school aims at imparting an all-round education so as to inculcate in the pupils, social, moral and aesthetic values based on the Indian Culture and heritage besides their intellectual and physical development. It endeavours to produce citizens with a keen sense of responsibility, self-confidence, honesty, social consciousness and initiative. The school’s motto is Educate & Illuminate.
