As the Junior School Headmistress, I would like to highlight our school's theme for the year: Dream, Believe, and Evolve. These three words hold a powerful message for our young students, and it is our mission to instil these values in each child.
Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." This quote beautifully encapsulates the importance of dreaming and the impact it can have on our lives. Dreams can be the driving force behind our actions and can inspire us to achieve greatness.
At our school, we encourage our students to dream big and never give up on their aspirations. We believe that all children have the potential to achieve their dreams, and it is our responsibility to scaffold their path of discovery and support them in their journey of learning.
However, dreaming alone is not enough. It is equally important to believe in oneself and one's abilities. We must teach our children to believe in themselves, to have faith in their own unique talents and skills, and to find their own voice of expression.
As our children grow and evolve, we must teach them to embrace change and see it as an opportunity for growth and self-improvement. Change is an inevitable part of life, and it can also be the catalyst for positive transformation and progress. We must encourage the little ones to take the first step, make mistakes, and learn from them.
