This School, St. Joseph’s Sec. School, Malkapuram is being run by the congregation of St. Ann, ever since its inception on 2nd February in 1971. When it was taken over by the Sisters of St. Ann it was only a shed with 90 students on roll and 3 member teaching faculty. From then on, gradually the school grew up and sent its first batch of students for Matriculation examinations in the year 1974. Later in the year 1978, the school got its affiliation to the ICSE Board, New Delhi.
The committed services rendered by the school received wide appreciation and won the hearts of the localities necessitating the expansion of the modest building to what it stands today.
Now that Education has gone digital and in keeping pace with this trend, we are proud to have introduced Digital Class Rooms to complement our teaching methods for quite some time now. We encourage our students to participate in competitions conducted at school, Inter-school, District, State and National levels too.
