• St. Judes School hosted a Winter Career Craft and Food Fair on the 15th of December 2023.St Judes School partnered with Career Launcher in order to organize a Career Fair of this magnitude. A number of esteemed Universities like Thapar University Patiala Tula’s University Dehradun Institute of Integrated Learning in Management University Gurgaon Asian Business School Noida Doon Business School Quantam University Dehradun Raffles Design International Mumbai Ecole Intuit Lab Noida and France IMS Unison University Dehradun Doon Business School Group Dehradun Amity University Noida and Punjab ICFAI University Dehradun Pimpri Chinchwad University Pune Institute of Technology Dehradun Universal AI University (India’s first AI University) Maharashtra Mahindra University Hyderabad Chitkara University Chandigarh William Patterson University USA KR Mangalam University NCR and Uttaranchal University Dehradun put up their Career Stalls at the Event. This Career Fair was organised to help Class XII students establish their areas of strengths and possible future careers. St. Jude’s School also promoted women entrepreneurs from in and around Dehradun to sell fresh food and hand crafted items. The women owned business enterprises and are playing a prominent role in society by generating employment opportunities locally inspiring a balanced growth in the country. These women entrepreneurs are creating networks and communities and need to be acknowledged and promoted. There was an array of interesting stalls like Selfie corner Tarot card reading table linen shawls rugs mats ayurvedic hair and pain oil cushions hand painted clothes pickles jams silver and handmade jewellery and gluten-free bakery products. A number of Schools like St. Thomas College Presidency International School The Doon Presidency School and Mount Fort Academy Shiwalik International School Prakriti Valley School had sent their senior students to participate in this mega Event. The parents enthusiasm was visible as they explored opportunities for their children. The students too were thankful as they received a great deal of information and guidance. We look forward to the participation of more students from various Schools in the future.
